Safety: You will contribute to efforts aimed at ensuring compliance with safety rules at the site, and transmit all information relating to safety concerns to his/her immediate supervisor. Representation: You will represent the association before partners, authorities and local actors involved in the implementation of health programs. Logistics and Administration: You will ensure compliance of activities falling under your responsibility with logistical and administrative procedures. Human Resources: You will supervise the Health Team (PUI salaried employees and, as the case may be, daily paid workers). Programs: You will ensure qualitative implementation and monitoring of health program(s) falling under your responsibility, while respecting PUI’s health policy and intervention framework, and applying the key principles of protection mainstreaming. What about the Health and Nutrition Project Manager - Mokha ?Īs Health Project Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation and supervision of all Health activities in the project, and manage PUI’s human and financial resources dedicated to the Health activities.įor this purpose, you will be responsible for : In August 2022, PUI was supporting 18 health facilities, including three Therapeutic Feeding Centers. In 2019, PUI opened a base in the Southern Governorates, in Mokha city (Taizz Governorate). After a one-year stand-by in 2011 due to security reasons, the mission re-started in July 2012 with a health and nutrition approach focusing both on emergency response and on longer-term community-based approach in Hodeidah, and extended its activity in Raymah Governorate in 2013. As amongst the most vulnerable populations, PUI has a specific focus on children under five, and on pregnant and lactating women.įrom 2007 to 2011, PUI supported the primary health system in Hodeidah Governorate. In Yemen, PUI is present and active since 2007, providing assistance to the most vulnerable populations of the conflict-affected areas of Yemen, through a community-based integrated approach combining primary and reproductive health, nutrition, psychosocial support, food security and WaSH interventions.
